Cheeto and most of the guides are top of the heap. Awesome facility, great hunting.

My father and I just got back from an incredible archery elk hunt with R&K out of their South Fork lodge. Our guides, Jared and Parker, were an awesome tag team, and really worked hard to put us on elk- great, friendly guys to spend a few days in the woods with as well. We saw bulls every single day on the Stillman ranch. The hunt was physically demanding, but it absolutely made for an even more accomplished feeling at the end of the day. I ended up shouldering a bull on day 2 that we ultimately didn't end up finding, and while both Jared and Parker worked their butts off to try and recover it, it just wasn't a vital hit. After my encounter, both guides worked and continued to try and get my father a shot at a bull, which he came VERY close 2 or 3 times. I'd say the lack of us getting bulls fell squarely on our inexperience as elk hunters, and there wasn't a single thing more the guides could have done to help us achieve our goal of each downing a bull. The lodging was fantastic, and the food cooked by Don and Cooper was even more so. Cheeto, who ran the lodge, was an extremely busy guy, but the few spare moments he had when we saw him, he checked in and made absolutely sure we were happy and enjoying our time their. Overall, this is a world class outfit, and a bunch of hunters downed great bulls and bucks while we were there- I'd guess R&K's success rate is far and above other outfitters in the game. We're definitely booking again for next year, and I'd have no reservations about recommending R&K to anyone at all. 10/10 hunt, 11/10 operation and guides.

Carson "Cletus" Chournos is a truly professional guide who worked his butt off to show me the hunt of a lifetime. We truly experienced a classic hunt including a sparring match between Elk, calling and stalking in high mountain Aspens and even saw a Mountain Lion on the way out of our hunting location one night. The accommodations and food was excellent! I'll look back on this experience with nothing but a smile for many years to come. My recent Utah elk hunt was an awesome experience. R&K did a great job handling all the details. The lodge was outstanding accommodations and the food was wonderful and every meal more than I could eat. I would recommend R&K if you want a quality elk hunt experience.

I am writing a review of my experiences hunting with the R and K Hunting Company. I have been hunting with Daniel and Lonnie for at least 10 years. I have always had very successful hunts and have had many elk and deer kills with them. All the camps have had had great accomodations and 5 star food. Daniel and Lonnie as well as their guides on staff are all very experienced and add to the enjoyment of the hunt. I very much enjoy everyone’s company there and it is a beautiful area. I intend to hunt with them any time I am able to!

I've been hunting with R&K for 5 years now one of the best outfits I've ever hunted with. you will be in Big Bucks and Bulls everyday during archery season accommodations are awesome the guides are awesome one of the best places to hunt .

R & K did an excellent job! Great facilities, atmosphere and guide. Meals were great! I had the hunt of a lifetime!! I can't say enough about the job the guide did in getting me in range of several shoot-able bulls--amazing!!
