In late summer and fall, the lodge is a favorite among trophy mule deer, trophy elk, and trophy moose hunters, hosted by The R & K Hunting Company. South Fork Guest Lodge ColoradoDuring the winter, skiers fill the lodge to hit the world-renowned slopes of the nearby Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons. Family reunions, vacations, corporate events and more fill South Fork Guest Lodge in the spring and summer.
From the exterior of the lodge, you will find a privately stocked fishing pond with rainbow and cutthroat trout and a beautiful stream bubbling along. There are horses and stables, a 12-person hot tub, a shooting range with targets from 100 to 600 yards, and plenty of cedar trees and aspen filling up 75,000 acres. Elevations on the property range from 6,000 to 12,000 feet.
When you step inside South Fork main level, you will be struck by its large windows giving you a view of the gorgeous outdoors. With a 20-foot tall rock fireplace in the great room surrounded by mounted animals, you’ll realize the comfort of being in a warm, welcome environment with room enough for your entire party. A wrap-around deck with a commercial-size barbecue, flat screen TV, large kitchen and dining room that can seat 26 people on the main level along with two bedrooms and two baths complete the main level.
Downstairs boasts four bedrooms and two baths along with a living room with a large flat screen TV and a separate entertainment room complete with an air hockey and foosball table. The master suite is on the top level that includes its own bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower, entertainment room with a pool table, and fireplace.
The South Fork Lodge has all the comforts of home with surround sound, wireless internet, a washer and dryer and even a full-time chef. Whether you are hunting for a trophy animal on some of the most pristine private hunting property in the state, renting the lodge with extended family for a summer vacation, or hosting family and friends for a winter wedding, the South Fork Lodge is a wonderful mountain destination that is sure to please.
